Poor families should have their government benefits cut off if they don’t go to PTA meetings.  In explaining why, Bauer says “My grandmother was not a highly educated woman, but she told me as a small child to quit feeding stray animals.  You know why?  Because they breed.  You’re facilitating the problem if you give an animal or a person ample food supply.  They will reproduce, especially ones that don’t think too much further than that.  And so what you’ve got to do is you’ve got to curtail that type of behavior.  They don’t know any better.”

…and there you have it…the dumb keep breeding the dumb???  Maybe according to Mr. Bauer???

According to www.Answer.com, we spend $47,780 per year to keep 1 Kansas senator in the state legislature in Topeka.

According to PBS, we spend $35,632 per year to keep 1 inmate in Kansas prisons.

But some of our Kansas legislative leadership think that $4,100 is too much money to spend per year to keep 1 Kansas school child educated.

PRIORITIES, PRIORITIES!

Where does this leave our students?

Not only do we have the unfunded AYP mandates put upon schools, but now we have to educate these students with fewer teachers and fewer resources.

I’m a little anxious to see what happens in my school…but it doesn’t look good!!
